Mowing the grass is usually not a very high priority for me, that is until it’s really needed. When rain threatens, however, and there is little hope of extended clear weather for a few days, I make myself get at it. Once completed, there is a certain satisfaction in a neatly cut and trimmed lawn. I’m not proud. I’m just happy I beat the rain. The satisfaction of a job completed becomes the pay for doing it. Then I can go on to other things, other work.
