The Ohio Stark County-based Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps capped its dream season Aug. 8, 2026, with a third world championship in the storied program's history.
Two natives of the Tri-City area have ties with the organization. Genevieve Geisler, Bluecoats CFO/Co-Corps Director, is a 1998 graduate of Watervliet High School, and her parents are retired WPS teachers who still live in Watervliet. David Glasgow, a 1998 graduate of Hartford High School, serves on the Bluecoats Board of Directors as a Director-Emeritus; his parents both live in Keeler.
