DID THE GROUNDHOG SEE HIS SHADOW MONDAY? I know there were 20-some inches of snow on the ground February 1 & 2. RIP… Tom Smith, our condolences to his family. Tom Smith Tractor in Hartford was a staple in this community going as far back as I remember. Tom, along with his father Tom Sr., was always willing and able to help out a fellow businessman. With anything from a nail in the garden tractor tire to a new full set of tires, they could get the job done fast and efficiently. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY… was celebrated on Monday the 19th! All of the Tri-City schools honored this day along with the U.S. Post Office and the banks closing. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was an American Baptist minister and most visible leader of the United States Civil Rights movement.
