Celebrating 40 Years

On February 24, 2024, history came alive at the North Berrien Historical Museum as we gathered to honor the 40th Anniversary of the Tri-City Record. Joined by cherished friends, family members, and community leaders, Karl and Anne Bayer, alongside their daughter Amy Loshbough, current managing editor, led us in a celebration filled with warmth and gratitude.

Representative Pauline Wendzel graced the occasion, presenting a heartfelt Special Tribute award to the Bayer family, recognizing their unwavering dedication to the Tri-City area over the past four decades.

Mayor Deah Muth of Watervliet, presented the Bayer family a "40 Years of Service Award" on behalf of the Watervliet DDA and the North Berrien Community Development organization.

But the celebration didn't stop there. Every individual who has been part of the Tri-City Record journey, from past employees to the current team, received a well-deserved 40-year pin.

As tokens of appreciation, commemorative keychains and a Special Edition of the Tri-City Record were available for all attendees. And for those unable to join us, a standing invitation remains: visit the Tri-City Record office while supplies last to claim your keepsakes.

On behalf of the entire Tri-City Record family, we extend our deepest appreciation to the North Berrien Historical Museum for graciously hosting our 40th Anniversary celebration. Your venue provided the perfect backdrop for our event.

As a part of our celebration, we published a special edition newspaper filled with the history of the Tri-City Record and the Bayer family. Printed versions are still available in our office. We thank our friends at Stafford Printing for helping with this special publication!
