JOANNE LOUISE MEGNA Joanne Louise Megna, 87, of Watervliet went home with her Heavenly Father on January 13, 2019. Joanne was born May 7, 1931, in Watervliet to Orlando and Kathryn (Marvin) Robbins. She was a lifelong resident of Watervliet where she graduated high school as part of the class of 1949. On October 11, 1952 she married Frank S. Megna of Coloma at the United Methodist Church in Watervliet. They enjoyed many years raising their family and working together running Megna and Sons Antenna Service. Joanne devoted her life following her Lord and Savior leading her family to do the same. She was an extraordinary and selfless woman who always put others first. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school for her church, Bible study, and spreading the word of the Lord. She also enjoyed bowling, walking, cooking, making new friends and sharing conversations. She had a great love for history and was a member of the North Berrien Historical Society. No matter where you saw her she always had a smile to greet you. Joanne’s greatest love was spending time with her family which includes: her three children, Frank Megna Jr. (Joan Muske), Steven Megna, and Cynthia Sweeney (Mark Hoffman), seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Joanne is preceded in death by her husband Frank Megna Sr., parents, and her sister Betty Lou Cracchiolo. A memorial service will be celebrated Monday, January 21, at 1:00 p.m. at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.
