SHIRLEY FINEHOUT

Shirley Finehout, beloved mom, Gram, great-grandma and friend, went home to be with God on Sunday, February 11, 2018. Shirley was born on August 12, 1921 and lived a long and amazing life here on this earth. Shirley Finehout is survived by two children, Betty (James) Mayes and Richard Finehout Sr.; 14 grandkids; 26 great-grandkids; and 18 great-great-grandkids along with numerous step grandkids and step great-grandkids. Shirley Finehout was preceded in death by her husband Albert Finehout, two daughters Ellen Jane Finehout and Dotty Pocevich, three stepsons Ray Finehout, John Finehout and Albert Finehout Jr. along with a grandson and great-grandson.

MICKEY RAY BYRD

Mickey Ray Byrd, 66, of Coloma died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his home. Services celebrating his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, at the Davidson Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Coloma. Cremation will follow the service. Please share messages, memories or photos at www.florin.net. Mickey was born on Feb. 10, 1952 in Marked Tree, AR to Evan and Ola Mae Byrd. He was employed at Ausco Products for the last 38 years and was in charge of shipping and receiving. He enjoyed golf, hunting, paintball and ice fishing. He was kind hearted but enjoyed his privacy. Mickey loved to have fun and was a very fun loving individual. He was a great dad and brother to his family.

SYLVIA JEANNENE CREST

Sylvia Jeannene Crest was born April 22, 1945 in Dell, Arkansas, the daughter of Marlin and Sylvia (Dollins) Traughber. Sylvia passed away at the age of 72 at Hanson Hospice Center in Lincoln Township on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Sylvia was formerly employed at Salutos Pizza in Benton Harbor and as a cook at the Panel Room Restaurant in Hartford. She loved watching the birds, especially hummingbirds. She had a green thumb in that she could grow anything and “she simply loved.” The family received friends on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Hartford Church of God, where a celebration of life service to honor Sylvia’s memory followed, with Pastor Rob Cheek officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hanson Hospice Center. The family has entrusted the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with arrangements.
