DAVID ROMEO David Alan Romeo was called home to be with our Lord on February 18, 2018. David was born on March 16, 1962 to Donald and Patricia Romeo. He grew up in the community of Hartford. As a young man you could find him working hard bailing hay and tending to the farm property where he grew up on 66th Avenue. As an adult he continued that work ethic and had a very successful heavy equipment business in Watervliet.
He was a very talented man who loved tinkering and could fix many things. He loved playing pool and spending time talking with his friends of which he had many. David’s greatest love was horses. He was involved many years with local youth fairs and horse shows. David will always be remembered for his big smile and even bigger heart. He was loved by many and will be missed. David is survived by three children, Michael Romeo of Hartford, Mikayla Romeo of Coloma, and Micah Romeo of Benton Harbor; two sisters, Roxy (Pat) Tarantino of Hartford and Kathy Romeo of Bangor; three brothers, Rick Romeo of Hartford, Doug (Lisa) Romeo of Hartford, and Dennis (Stacey) Romeo of Hartford; two grandchildren, Brianna Baker of Hartford and Ricky Baker of Dowagiac; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. David is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Romeo, his father Donald Romeo, and his daughter Sabrina Romeo Baker. Per his wishes there will be no funeral. More Than Conquerors If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not even spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died, and was raised to life—is at the right hand of God, is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31-39 (NIV)
