LADD “BUD BURR” WILSON

Ladd “Bud Burr” Wilson, 92, of Coloma passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

PALMLEAF (FLOWERS) MOONEY

Palmleaf’s “Pam” life began September 12, 1931 in Hayti, Missouri. She married Clarence Mott and they moved to Michigan in 1950 where they raised their three children. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was married to Paul Mooney for over thirty years until his death in 2005. Pam was an outstanding cook and had a real passion for baking. She loved to prune her roses and groom her flowers. Life revolved around her children Glenda (Mark) Long, Clarence “Van” Mott, and Aaron Mott; grandchildren: Tasha (TJ) Fuller, Niki Mott, and Trey Mott; great-grandchildren: Jordyn, Jaedyn, Noah, Nathan, Liam, and Jacob. She has a sister Ruby Flowers, a brother Maron Flowers and many nieces and nephews. Her parents James Jessie Flowers and Ethyl Smith, along with sisters Fern Flowers and Bessie Stafford and her brother Earl Oodie precede her in death. Being a faithful servant, she enjoyed time fellowshipping with the Hospitality Team at the Midway Baptist Church in Watervliet. Pam was a peacemaker, faithful, loving, and dedicated mom. After an extended battle with cancer she died with her family around her. She loved spoiling all her “kids”. Her motto was “everyone needs to be someone’s favorite”. Pam died Friday, May 17, 2019, at home surrounded by her family. Visitation was held Tuesday, May 21, with funeral service immediately following at Midway Baptist Church in Watervliet. Memorials may be made in Pam’s memory to National Council on Blindness. Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Pam’s family with arrangements. You are invited to leave a message of comfort for her family at hutchinsfuneral.com.
