2024 Primary Election August 6: Tri-City area voters go to the polls next week to make their voices heard

The August 6, 2024 primary election is just but a few days away so here is what area voters need to know.

In Michigan, residents do not register to vote by political party. This means they will vote only on the Democratic or the Republican side of the ballot. Whether voting absentee, early voting, or casting your vote in person on Tuesday, Aug. 6, that vote will help decide the Republican and Democratic nominees who will compete in the November 5, 2024 general election.
