A Coloma family’s fallen soldier comes home after 75 years

On Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at 12:51 p.m. after more than 75 years of being missing in action, remains of U.S. Army Capt. Charles Graham Gibson Jr., the grandfather of longtime Coloma resident, David Gibson, landed in the Detroit Metro Airport.
