Alcoholism and aging: A dangerous mix

Many older adults enjoy a glass of wine with dinner or even having a beer while watching the game on TV. Having a drink now and then is fine, but what seniors need to know is alcohol may affect them differently than it did as a younger adult. During April the Tri-City Record is shedding light on alcoholism for Alcohol Awareness Month and this week’s Senior Side is looking into the effects of alcohol on aging seniors.
