Antonette “Toni” (Gagliardo) Wood, 75, of Coloma went to be with her Lord on May 3, 2022 in Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022 at Duffield and Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma where family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service. A celebration of life reception will follow at Coloma F.O.P. Lodge. Memorial donations in Toni’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. Toni was born May 25, 1947 to Anthony and Rosalie (Pirri) Gagliardo in Coloma where she stayed and enjoyed the closeness of small-town life. She graduated from Lake Michigan College with an associate’s degree in accounting and was employed as an accountant for Menasha Packaging for 44 years, until she retired. Toni was a local model, and a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She was very active for many years with the Coloma Lioness Club, serving as past president, where her kindness, compassion and generosity were well served. Toni was a member of the Board of Directors for the Palms Estates of Highland County, FL where she and her husband Tom spent much time enjoying their winter home, traveling and fishing. Toni enjoyed reading, camping, swimming, shopping, traveling and visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, she loved all of her fresh flowers, and truly loved her pinochle group.
She is survived by her loving husband, friend and soul mate of 56 years Tom; her daughter Tamara (William) Zerbe; stepdaughter Brenda Lyons; brothers Peter (Alice) Gagliardo and Anthony (Ruth) Gagliardo and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to her parents, Toni was preceded by her sister Angelina Bertog.
