The nineteenth week of the Tri-City Record’s yearly Armchair Quarterback competition has seen the final horn sounded and whistle blown, and it now takes it rightful place in the history books just like the previous eighteen weeks have. But, before we bid farewell to the week in football, we made sure that we continued our long-standing tradition of testing our knowledgeable “super fans” with an always intriguing gauntlet of selections from collegiate bowl action and professional matchups, featuring teams at both the local and national levels. The countdown is now at five weeks to go in this ferocious competition, and the race appears as if it will remain tight until the very end. Readers are encouraged to pull those belts tight one more time; it’s going to be a race until the bitter end!
