Coloma City Council discusses new appointees to North Berrien Fire Rescue

Coloma City Council members gathered at City Hall on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024 for their regular bi-monthly meeting. During the meeting, Mayor Pro-Temp Linda Freitag announced that North Berrien Fire and Rescue fire board member, Bob Howell will be stepping down from his position at the end of December. She added that Hagar Township appointed Tom Allen as a new member of the fire board. Allen will replace Bill Ott and serve until March 2028. Freitag said that Ott’s departure is due to moving from the Hagar Township Board to Coloma Township Board.
