Coloma City Mayor Marsha Hammond made a motion to investigate fixing the public fire alarm system during a regular Coloma City Council meeting on Monday, June 24, 2024. Residents have raised concerns about the alarm system after a tornado nearly made ground contact in municipalities surrounding Coloma last month. The tornado caused devastation in Kalamazoo County on May 7.
