Comets carry momentum into busy week of fall sports
The fall sports season continues to roll along at Coloma High School, and the Comets enter another busy week with plenty of opportunities to build momentum.
For the varsity football team, that momentum is already there.
Coloma picked up a hard-fought 16-9 victory over Delton Kellogg last Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, giving the Comets a much-needed win and something positive to build on heading into another road matchup this week.
A seven-point victory may not jump off the page, but wins like that can be important for a team trying to establish itself as the season moves forward. Coloma found a way to finish the job against Delton Kellogg, and now the challenge becomes carrying that same energy into Friday night.
The Comets will travel to South Haven for a 7 p.m. kickoff on Friday, Sept. 18.
