The May 2 Election brings a chance of finding two K-12 school bond proposals on your ballot, one for Coloma Community Schools and one for Watervliet Public Schools. This type of bond proposals is the main source of funding for many K-12 school capital projects. Other important funding sources that are utilized come from private donations or grants, but those are never enough to tackle large capital improvements like both of these proposals are suggesting.
