DEBRA LYNN MORRISON

 Debra’s life began Sept. 4, 1953, in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She was a lifetime area resident and ran Morrison Rentals for many years. Debra’s favorite job was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening both flowers and vegetable, and cooking for her family. She enjoyed listening to music, relaxing in a chair with her dog or cat laying comfortably in her lap, and just life in general. Debra loved people and helping friends and family.

 She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory including: her life partner Ray Martell; her daughter Linda Robinson; three stepchildren, Tanya Martell, Jason Martell, and Kairey Martell; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

 Debra died Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, at Corewell Health Hospital in St. Joseph.

 She is preceded in death by her dad, Thomas Ellis; mom Mary (Haltom) Franklin; a sister, Linda (Ellis) Robinson and a brother, Tom Ellis.

 Friends may visit with Debra’s family Friday, Feb. 14, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service following visitation at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.
