“DNA Doesn’t Lie” Van Buren Regional Genealogical Society program at Hartford Public Library

October is Family History Month and the public is invited, free of charge, on Saturday, Oct. 21 to the Hartford Public Library, 12 Church St., for a great program presented by Valerie van Heest. “DNA Doesn’t Lie: The pros, cons, and surprises of using it in genealogical research” will begin at 11 a.m. Author and museum exhibit designer Valerie van Heest shares her own surprising genealogical discoveries while offering some tips and cautions when using DNA and Ancestry resources in your own research.
