DOROTHY L. TERNOVSKY

Dorothy Lee Ternovsky, 87, of Orange Park, Florida and formerly of Hagar Shores, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, at the Middleburg Nursing and Rehab Center in Middleburg, Florida.

Services celebrating her life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, at the Florin Funeral Service in Fairplain. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. The visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Fairplain Chapel. Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Parish. Please share memories or messages at www.florin.net.

Dorothy was born on March 11, 1938, in Chicago to William and Mildred Tohtz. She was retired from the Dept. of the Army. She was formerly a member of the Auxiliary of American Legion Post #105 and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph.

Dorothy is survived by her family, including three daughters: Mary (Jack) Pasquill of Granite Falls, NC, Michelle Ternovsky of Orange Park, FL, and Mary McIntosh of Lake Villa, IL; two brothers: William (Arlene) Tohtz of Middleburg, FL, and Jack (Stacey) Tohtzof of Indiana; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four nephews and a niece.
