The fourth week of the Tri-City Record’s annual Armchair Quarterback contest has come and gone, but we made sure to continue our long-standing tradition of challenging our knowledgeable ‘super fans’ over some ultimately tough choices on the gridiron, as our diehards attempted to pick the winners of a pair of high school football games, five collegiate football contests and a trio of professional football matchups that dotted the schedule. With a total of ten games on the slate for our pigskin pickers last week, our panelists will often have to dwell on their selections, as one or two picks can be the difference between a position near the top or the bottom of the weekly standings. We can report that all six of our gurus ended with a winning record, including one who correctly predicted every single game.
