At their regular meeting on June 14, the Hagar Township board approved a resolution to officially oppose House Bill 4722 and Senate Bill 446, both of which are currently in consideration in the Michigan legislature, and would result in the township losing their authority to regulate short term rentals. The resolution approved by Hagar Township asks Senator LaSata and Representative Wendzel to vote no on both of these pieces of legislation.
