Hagar Township signs contract to stop erosion at Hagar Park, adds moratorium, and hires new building inspector

Supervisor Izzy DiMaggio announced at the regular board meeting of Hagar Township on Monday, April 14 that the board approved an agreement with deBest Inc. at the March 26, 2025, special meeting. The township received the needed permits to address the erosion problem at Hagar Park and deBest Inc. will be repairing, stabilizing, and approving the drainage system related to the erosion area along the bluff at Hager Park. DiMaggio explained that the project is estimated to take two weeks to complete at the cost of $111,527.82.
