Halloween: to participate or not?

 Halloween is a controversial holiday for many Christians. For starters, many of the decorations like skeletons, ghosts, witches, and tombstones, are historically linked with pagan practices which Christians condemn. And the Bible does say, “the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” (1 Peter 5:8). It also says that “Bad company ruins good morals.” (1 Cor. 15:33). So is participating in Halloween festivities an invitation to devilry?
