Knowing our limits
The 20th Century was notable for astronomical leaps in technology. It began with the radio and single-passenger short range flight, and leapt to space flight, home computers, and the World Wide Web. These massive leaps led humanity to dream of the future with wonder, so that Hollywood in Back to the Future 2 imagined 2015 as the year of hoverboards, flying cars, and instant microwave ovens.

Remember to look to God
John Bunyan once wrote about seven “abominations” he felt in his heart. As I read them, I found three that seem common among modern Christians: suddenly forgetting the love and mercy of Christ, wanderings and coldness in prayer, and forgetting to watch for that which we have prayed for.
