Hartford Schools awarded $1.5 million grant for “clean” electric buses
Nearly 400 school districts spanning all 50 states and Washington, D.C., are slated to receive roughly $1 billion in grants to purchase about 2,500 “clean” school buses under a Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean School Bus Program. West Michigan’s Hartford, (4 buses,) and Cassopolis (3 buses,) Public Schools are among the 25 Michigan School Districts on the list, receiving $1.5 and $1.1 million respectively.
