evening hours,

December 21

December 21 is the winter solstice, the day of the year with the fewest hours of daylight. It also marks the beginning of the winter season. To mark this occasion, the North Berrien Historical Museum in Coloma is offering “The Lights of Winter Solstice,” a special opportunity to view the 30 decorated holiday trees between 5–7 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, Dec. 21. Visitors can tour the holiday décor in its full festive lighting and vote on their three favorite trees. This is also a great opportunity to pick up gingerbread house kits for the holiday weekend.

The museum is located at 300 Coloma Avenue across Red Arrow Highway from Coloma High School.
