Improving transparency and accountability

In 2022, voters overwhelmingly supported the passage of Proposal 1. This ballot proposal contained several provisions changing how elected officials at the state level do their jobs. This included changes to our term-limits and increased requirements for financial disclosures. This proposal outlined the requirements for these changes, but still required the legislature to pass bills implementing these measures. Last week, the Senate passed several bills addressing this and I was supportive of their passage.
