It’s the economy, Democrats!

For too long, the Democrat political class has prioritized the tax-taker over the taxpayer and Michigan families have suffered for it. That’s why Senate Republicans have continued to fight for Michigan workers, seniors, and families—because you deserve a better opportunity to thrive as an American and Michigander.

If there is one issue that illustrates the huge divide between the Democrat political class and the working class, it’s the economy. Despite Democrat politicians in Lansing and D.C. telling people the economy is doing just great, Americans know better—especially hard-working Michigan families. In less than two years, Lansing Democrats have raised taxes, exploded the size of government, and spent recklessly while borrowing against our future. We know all too well what happened as a result of these failed policies. We see it every day when we pay our utility bills, buy gas and groceries, or try to take out a loan.
