Jimmie D. Mullins, 69, of Watervliet, formerly of the Coloma area, died on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at his home.
Service celebrating his life was held on March 15, at the Coloma Cemetery in Coloma with Reverend Lonnie Truelove of Full Gospel Assembly in Hartford officiating. Arrangements are by the Davidson Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Coloma. Please share memories or messages at www.florin.net.
Jimmie was born on Nov. 18, 1952 in Kennett, MO to Homer and Romie Mullins. He married his wife, Marlene Blaylock, and together they celebrated 49 years of marriage before her death in December of 2021. Jimmie was a retired truck driver for Michigan Fruit Canners where he was employed for over 41 years. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and riding bicycles with his grandchildren. He always made everyone laugh and was quite a jokester. Jimmie had a good heart and he cared about everyone. He was a loving father and grandfather.
His family includes his children, Jimmy (Pamela) Mullins of Hartford, Eric (Sheila) Mullins of Broken Arrow, OK, and Keith (Valorie) Mullins of Hartford; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his sisters, Becky Rose of Coloma, Brenda (Gary) Yerington of Eau Claire, and Cathy (Tom) Fuller of Watervliet, and his brothers, Steve (Tonya) Mullins of Paw Paw and Mike (Laura) Mullins of Watervliet.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Joyce Freeman, Kattie Allen, and Charlene Knapp and his brothers, Russell Mullins, Benny Mullins, and Allen Mullins.
