JUDITH GEER BAKER

 Judy’s life began July 23, 1952, in Dowagiac, Michigan. She is a lifetime area resident growing up in Dowagiac and then later making her home in Hartford. Judy worked as a waitress and hostess at Homestead Restaurant and Chickhaven. She also worked in security for JCPenney. Judy will be remembered for her love of critters especially her dog Dexter. You could find her out in nature feeding the birds and caring for her flowers, when she wasn’t outside she enjoyed making arts and crafts.

 Judy leaves behind her loving husband who she enjoyed 44 years, Mike Baker; two sisters, Sharon Geer and Carol Sue Bradford; and her best friend who was more like a sister, Roberta Ellison and her family.

 Judy died Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Corewell Health St. Joseph. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Doris Geer and a brother, Terry Geer.
