TOO MANY KIDS & TICKETS… growing up in a family of 13 took good management. We all had chores of one thing or another. And we were all expected to pitch in. The bigger ones looked after the little ones. The little ones had to mind and pick up after their selves. No small tasks in a 5-bedroom home that also accommodated elderly grandparents. I recall our “baby” room wallpapered with cowboys & Indians. When a brother broke his knee, he recuperated in the kid’s room, sister & I moved upstairs.
