Karl's Kolumn

YEAH OUR ARMCHAIR QUARTERBACKS… are all returning this year and the Record will run the football Armchair QB preview next week. Thank you to all our volunteer AQBs, Rodney Lynch, RoxAnn Rodney-Isbrecht, Greg Krell, Mike Banic, Bill Whitney and Maureen Ovington, for coming back to our contest for another year. The quarterbacks receive a list of football games for the upcoming week, led by our local high school teams, the Coloma Comets, the Hartford Huskies and the Watervliet Panthers. Regional college teams leading up to season championships keep the games exciting through the winter months. The Lions and the Bears bring professional football from just a few miles away, Detroit or Chicago. The Armchair Quarterback Football contest keeps the games close by from September to February, right through the Super Bowl, here on the TCR Sports Pages.
