LABOR DAY WEEKEND… is upon us and with that, brings the thoughts of summer 2025 behind us. Now, Labor Day signifies school is back in session, but when it began in the 19th century it meant honoring the American Labor movement. This was a time when harsh, long hours and unsafe environments were the conditions most employees were faced with. The first Labor Day parade was held in New York City in 1882, organized by the Central Labor Union.
