LETTERS TO THE EDITOR… are a welcomed part of the Tri-City Record weekly and contain the writer’s expression of opinion. Some weeks we have numerous letters (re: Best Mom) with some having very controversial subjects and views. Being the editor has proved at times to be difficult to decide what to print and what not to print, which goes with the duties of the position. With that said, I will continue to allow letters to be printed weekly. These letters may or may not line up with all readers’ ways of thinking but all the same if these letters are signed and check out they will run on these pages as space allows. Regrettably some subscribers will be offended. It’s the risk with the freedom of the press.
