Kathleen Marie (Hunt) White age 68, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024 at Fountain View Assisted Living in Lowell, Michigan. She was born in Watervliet on July 7, 1955, to Mearl F. and Barbara L. (Burger) Hunt.
Kathy was a 1973 graduate of Hartford High School where she played the flute in band, and was a JV and varsity cheerleader. She loved her family and her children. Kathy was the most loving soul anyone could meet, raised Golden Retrievers and most of all she loved chocolate.
Kathy is survived by her husband Richard White of Grand Rapids and her mother, Barbara Hunt of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina. She also leaves behind her children, Courtney, Sara, Shelly and Tommie; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debby (Chuck) Bryars of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina and Sandy (Bill) Main of Kerrville, Texas; her grandchildren; stepmother Pauline Hunt of Watervliet, and several nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Kathy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mearl F. Hunt in April of 2018.
A graveside service was held on May 9, 2024 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hartford. Kathy was buried on the Burger family plot next to her Grandpa and Grandma Burger, who she loved dearly, three great uncles, and her great-grandparents.
