The Keeler Township Board met on Tuesday, July 2. Much discussion centered on the rezoning of the Mitchell property. The board approved the rezoning, stating that proper procedures were followed, and both the Keeler and Van Buren County Planning Commissions recommended the site for rezoning. Public hearings will be held for specific site plans during the site plan review process. The rezoning changes the property’s status from residential, where it operated agriculturally under grandfathered-use, to a new zoning classification.
