The Keeler Township Board’s August meeting was rescheduled to Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, due to the elections that took place on Tuesday, Aug. 6 in the Township Hall.
Keeler Township had all the Board of Trustees seats up for election. Supervisor Don Blackmond received 253 votes, Treasurer Sharon Clupper received 259 votes, and Clerk Angie Sexton received 262 votes. The Supervisor, Treasurer and Clerk candidates ran unopposed and were all three reelected. Trustees Jerry Morin and Matt Sexton ran against former Keeler Township Clerk, Carl Davis and resident Darren Lane. Trustee Sexton, 174 votes, and Carl Davis, 155 votes, claimed the two Trustee seat positions. Morin received 128 votes and Lane received 65 votes.
