KIMBERLY ANN BRUBAKER-TROTT

 Kimberly Ann Brubaker-Trott, of Hartford, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024 in her home surrounded by loved ones.

 Even through her yearlong battle with cancer, she remained optimistic, positive and uplifting to those around her. Kim had recently turned 62 years old. She was the daughter of Hearl and Shirlee Little.

 Kim was born in Michigan and spent most of her life in Southwest Michigan and lived for a short time in Florida. She was the youngest of six children and attended Hartford Public Schools. Kim was from the class of 1980. While living in Florida, she had three children and is survived by her son, Hiram Ian Trott, and two daughters: Jayme Nichole Mayport (Trott) and Joni S. Trott. Kim is also survived by her sister, Robyn Larsen (Brubaker) and brothers: Scott Brubaker and Joseph M. Walton. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

 She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Vickie Russell and Wendy Weeden (Brubaker).

 Kim was fortunate to have and love her extended family. Her lifelong friends, Larry and Nancy Walker, their children: Gary Walker, Melissa (Ryle) Otterstrom and Christopher (Ana) Walker, and grandchildren, River Walker and Koah, Roux and Banksi Otterstrom, were her heart.

 The family would like to thank a special person, Tammy Menear, for her love, dedication and compassion, friendship and helpful touch giving comfort and aid throughout her journey.

 There will be a graveside service at noon on Saturday, Feb. 24, at Maple Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Lenny Weston will be presiding over the service.
