LAURENCE NORDHOFF

Laurence (Larry) Nordhoff passed away at home on Jan. 26, 2022. Born in South Haven on Sep. 6, 1939, he spent most of his life in Watervliet.

While he had full-time factory jobs until his retirement in 2001, he is best known for the passion with which he pursued his hobbies while turning several of them into small businesses, including African violets, antiques, postcards, baseball cards and beading. He was the proprietor of Trade Winds Antiques and Beads in Watervliet.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth, and son, Mark.

Larry is survived by four children: James Nordhoff, David (Carol) Nordhoff, Kimberly (Mike) Ballard, and Christopher (Emilio Munoz) Nordhoff; as well as five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Those wishing to leave an online message for the family may do so at www.duffieldpastrick.com.
