LAURIE (NICHOLS) MATHON

 Laurie was born on April 29, 1965 and she passed away on Sept. 8, 2024.

 Laurie is survived by her daughter, Brittany Marie Bowers; her brother, Rick Nichols and her sister, Jan Petrovich (husband, Frank Petrovich). She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and several dear friends.

 Laurie attended Watervliet schools from elementary through high school. She graduated in 1982. She loved being a mom and was so proud of her daughter, Brittany. She also loved a variety of music, especially old Elvis songs. Watching old movies and TV shows was one of her favorite pastimes.

 Her heart was so big and caring. She truly enjoyed lifting the spirits of others, even when things were difficult in her own life.

 Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, Shelvin and Pauline Nichols, two of her brothers, Ed and Roger Nichols, and her nephew, Ted Nichols.
