WATERVLIET

 The annual Adult Reading Program at Watervliet District Library is here! Pick up a bookmark to get started and read up to six books by Feb. 24 to be entered to win a $100 gift card!

 Let creativity loose with craft projects using a variety of materials! Krafty Kids is geared towards children from kindergarten through 5th grade. On Monday, Feb. 12 at 4:30 p.m., the craft is Valentine’s Day Candle Holders. This program is free and all supplies are included.

 The fiber arts group will meet on Friday, Feb. 9 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Spilling the Tea is a free, drop-in program the library holds once a month. This is for fiber arts enthusiasts of all ages! They can learn how to knit, come and cross-stitch or crochet, learn a new technique, or just share what they’re working on!

 Read and discuss. Listen and learn. Connect at the library with the Third Monday Book Club discussion group and fuel your interests! The February book club selection is “The Lincoln Highway,” a novel by Amor Towles.

 The library is offering FREE seeds to interested gardeners! A variety of fruit, vegetable, flower, and herb seed packets will be available for pick-up March 11 through May 25.

COLOMA

 The public is invited to join the Coloma Public Library Book Club every other Thursday in the Community Room at 4 p.m. The selection for the meeting on Feb. 15 is “West with Giraffe” by Lynda Rutledge.

 Weekly Paws for Reading sessions with trained therapy dogs, Pailey and Margaret are Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. in the Children’s Room. Next session is Feb. 21.

 Weekly Toddler Story Times are Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. for fun interactive story times and activities. Next session is Feb. 13.

 Teens are invited to the library for a Teen Advisory Council meeting at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14.

 Tweens ages 10-13 are invited to a fun movie night with friends; snacks provided. The showing is Thursday, Feb. 15 at 5:00 p.m.

HARTFORD

 The Hartford Public Library has a new Lego Club Challenge every Friday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sign up to be part of the club, complete all Lego challenges for a Lego prize.

 Every first Saturday of the month, families are welcome to play table games in the meeting room from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

 The first Family Engagement Night sponsored by Redwood Elementary school is Friday, Feb. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hartford Public Library.

 Everyone is welcome to participate in the library’s Cardio Drumming session every Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. (except the first Wednesday of each month).

 There is a Valentine party at the library on Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. with Valentine crafts, games and refreshments.
