One decision that senior citizens have been considering in these tough economic times would be whether or not to live with their adult children. Studies have shown that the percentage of Americans living in multi-general households has grown from 7% in 1971 to 18% in 2021. Over 59.7 million homes are now multigenerational and that number is expected to grow.
