Lois was active in the church, a devout Christian and was in the church choir for many years. She volunteered to assist in the kindergarten class that her daughter, Angie taught and the kids loved her. Lois loved traveling and took many cruises with Wes. In her younger years she won multiple baton twirling competitions, including a national title.

Lois is survived by her children, Angela (Bud) Arent-Seabury of Coloma and Thomas (Kelly) Arent of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Logan, Makenzie, Sophia, Wayne and Wesley; and a brother, Ronald Wayne (Marcia) Kilmark of Waycross, GA.
