MARGARET F. LUDWIG

 Margaret F. Ludwig, 93, of Coloma, died Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Powell Assisted Living Home in St. Joseph.

 Services celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Township with Reverend Mikki Collins of Chapel Hill UMC officiating. Cremation will follow the service and burial of the ashes will be at Coloma Cemetery. Friends and relatives may begin calling at 10 a.m. on Saturday until service time.  Margaret was born on July 26, 1930, in Buchanan to Homer and Alice Forsythe. Margaret graduated from Watervliet High School. She married her first husband, Wayne Persicke, and he preceded her in death. Margaret married her second husband, John Ludwig, and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was a homemaker and earlier in life had worked at various different jobs. Margaret liked animals. She could be feisty at times, but enjoyed and loved her family.

 Her family includes her sons, Darren (Diane Cole) Persicke of Coloma and Dale (Karen) Persicke of Muskegon; her sisters, Patricia Lottridge of Bridgman and Pruedence Kiekenapp of South Haven; her stepdaughter, Diane Morris of Stevensville; and her grandchildren, Lilly, Holly, Aiden, and Emma.

 She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jean; her brothers, Preston and Richard; and her stepson, Allen.
