Mark was born Aug. 19, 1953 in Watervliet to Ronald “Pug” and Janet (Turner) Wigent. Right out of high school, Mark went to work for George Miller & Sons doing construction and continued to work for various construction companies operating heavy equipment before retiring from Berrien County Landfill after 29 years. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #324 and was a loyal Chicago Bears fan. Mark was always tinkering with something and enjoyed cooking, talking, pulling pranks on people and his boxer pups. Spending time with his friends and family, hunting and being outside with the wildlife, especially feeding them, was something Mark truly loved.

Mark is survived by his wife Joyce, whom he married July 5, 1975; his children Valerie (Wigent) Keller and Nick (Tiffani) Wigent; his brother Gary Wigent; grandchildren Kristopher, Kylar, Karsen and Korey Kinyon and Sophie and Michael Wigent; and one great-granddaughter Naila Kinyon.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents.
