Right out of high school, Mark went to work for George Miller & Sons doing construction and continued to work for various construction companies operating heavy equipment before retiring from Berrien County Landfill after 29 years. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #324 and was a loyal Chicago Bears fan. Mark was always tinkering with something and enjoyed cooking, talking, pulling pranks on people and his boxer pups.
