MASON DAVID SUMMERTON

Mason was born Feb. 2, 2002 in St. Joseph, Michigan. He was formerly of Hartford. Mason passed away unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 4, 2021 in Hebron, Kentucky.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 16, at Hartford Bible Church, Pastor Ben Williamson of Hartford, will be officiating. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 11 a.m., Saturday at the church. 

Mason had recently moved to Kentucky and was about to start his job at Amazon. He loved nature, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends. 

Mason is survived by his Uncle Kevin and Aunt Sandi Reed of Hartford, who he resided with. Other survivors are Ryan (Chelsea) Reed of Portage, MI; his father, David (Kera Ball) Summerton of South Haven; mother, Autumn (TJ Mitchell) Summerton and Mason’s sister Kinsly of Decatur; grandparents, Scott Reed and Tammy Reeves of Lawrence, Bill Powell of Alabama, and Robert (Gayle Gast) Faulkner of Coloma. He also had many aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends, too many to mention.
