MAVIS PANKEY

 Mavis’ life began Oct. 4, 1943, in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She was a lifetime area resident. Mavis graduated from Hartford High School and continued her education at Lake Michigan College. While working at Modern Plastics she met the love of her life, Ira Pankey. In her spare time Mavis enjoyed quilting, sewing and gardening.

 Mavis leaves behind her husband Ira, brother Robert Williamson, and several nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister.

 Mavis died Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, at home with her loving husband at her side.

 She is preceded in death by her son, Richard Charles Mercer; parents Virgil and Virgie (Harkey) Williamson; brother Daryl Williamson.
