Michiganders deserve transparency

Last week, I and Senate Appropriations Minority Vice Chair Jon Bumstead on Monday announced that Senate Republicans will publicly disclose their legislatively directed spending requests in an effort to increase transparency in the state budget process and match new rules adopted by the Michigan House.
