Neta J. Mullen, 86, of Watervliet died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021 at her home.

Neta was born on March 3, 1934 in West Ridge, AR to Floyd and Nellie Saffell. She married her husband, Kenneth Mullen, in 1981 and he preceded her in death in 2019. Together they celebrated 38 years of marriage. Neta was a homemaker, but did work at New Products for about 10 years. She liked to do things around her home and enjoyed taking care of her family. Neta also loved being with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Her family includes her children, Melba Robinson of Watervliet, Judy Brown of Melbourne, FL, Robert Britton of Inverness, FL, Ricky Britton of Stevensville, Danette Shawa of Watervliet, Linda Hudspeth of Harrison, AR, and Nita Bartlett of Jonesboro, AR, her 17 grandchildren, her 21 great-grandchildren and her 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Olson of Watervliet, her parents, and her 12 siblings. Neta was the last of the 13 children that made up the Saffell family.
